Despite the massive mess of broken trees parts my cleanup efforts are progressing as spring begins.
Daylight, sunshine falling on the forest floor, blue skies above, clouds, a coopers hawk and songbirds pass on by.
A new scurry of Douglas squirrels are showing off their skill with lighting speed.
I’m going to need to get quicker with my camera to catch the antics.
Months of manual cleanup are paying dividends for the native plants recently buried under tons of limbs and needles.
There are a few cultivars too.
Three months later I’ve manage to rearrange the backyard plant to provide some sense of privacy.
Next up; I will hopefully have some farming flashbacks from last year.
